How to use Plugins?
1. Membership Questions
When to use it: To collect contact information and decide who to let into your free group.
Best practices: For Q1 figure out who you want in your group, then ask a question to determine that information e.g. "Why do you want to join this community?" or "What's your goal related to [topic]?". You can also this information for sales if you have a paid offer. For Q2 ask for their email or social handle, so you can contact them if they're not active on Skool. For Q3 you can ask where they found you, so you know where people are finding your group. Harder membership questions = lower conversion rate = but higher quality members

5. Unlock Chat at Level 2
When to use it: Use this when the group gets over 1,000 members. It's mainly used to reduce spam and people joining your group just to try selling in the DMs.
Best practices: If you are a big group who is getting lots of new joins we recommend turning this on right away. If you have a smaller group, this is probably not needed.
6. Unlock Posting at Level 2
When to use: Similar to above. To reduce spam and low quality posts.
Best practices: Best to use this for large groups only. It is a good way to encourage members to introduce themselves on your pinned post by commenting and then start engaging in the community via posts.
7. Meta Pixel Tracking
When to use: For people who run Facebook/Instagram ads to their about page and want to retarget visitors, and track signups with precision.
Best practices: If you want to run ads, or think you'll want to in the future, turn this on. Even if you don't use it straight away it'll collect data which you can use for your ads later on. If you don't think you'll ever run meta ads you can ignore this
(instructions here)
8. Google ads
When to use: Specifically for people running Google/YouTube ads to their about page, who want to retarget visitors, and track signups.
Best practices: If you want to run ads, or think you'll want to in the future, turn this on. Even if you don't use it straight away it'll collect data which you can use for your ads later on. If you don't think you'll ever run Google ads you can ignore this
(instructions here)
9. Instant membership approval
When to use: When you want to automate approvals.
Best practices: If you are promoting lead magnets and or running ads to your free group, consider turning this on. It will help people automatically get accepted so they are more likely to view the lead magnet when they click and reduce waiting times. Or if you're getting tired of going through membership requests. NOTE: If you see a lot of members joining and spamming your community feed, then best to turn this feature off.
