Payment terms and policy
Plans: Skool currently offers two plans - the Hobby plan and the Pro plan. Both are recurring subscriptions after 14 day free trial.
Active Subscription: The group owner authorizes Skool to charge the payment method in advance for the selected plan. Subscription fees, once paid, are non-refundable and accrue from the first day of each term or successive renewal term until canceled, regardless of whether the owner actually uses the group.
Payment decline: If the payment method expires or is otherwise declined, Skool, in its sole discretion and without notice to the group owner, may modify, suspend, or cancel the group owner's access to the platform.
Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions are typically billed monthly or annually. Subscription fees are calculated from the day the payment commences. The subscription to the platform shall be for the initial term (e.g., monthly or annually) and shall automatically renew for successive indefinite renewal terms of the same duration as the initial term, unless terminated by the group owner or Skool in accordance with these Terms.
Cancellation: Either the group owner or Skool can cancel the subscription at any time for any reason. Upon cancellation, the group owner will retain access to Skool through the end of the billing period. At the end of the billing period, the group will be archived, and the current content will be available read-only; no new content may be added.
One-time purchase: A URL change on the Pro plan counts as one time purchase. This purchase is non-refundable. The Custom URL is included with the Pro plan and remains active as long as the plan is active. How to change the URL is mentioned here.
Group transfer charge: Transferring a group requires the subscription plan to be on the Pro plan. This upgrade charge, if on a hobby, is non-refundable. More on this here.
Refunds: No refunds will be provided for full or partial billing periods or for the non-use of the platform. As a subscription service, the group owner can cancel their subscription at any time to avoid further billing. How to cancel is mentioned here.
TLDR: You can cancel anytime, but Skool doesn't issue refunds.
