How to toggle between private and public?

Private groups: Only members can see who is in the group and what they post. Content is hidden from search engines. Usually, subscription groups are private groups.

Public groups: Anyone can see who is in the group and what they post. Content is discoverable by search engines. Usually, free groups are public groups.

You can switch from private to public or vice versa at any time. Both groups are searchable in Skool Discovery.

1. Once you create a group, click the SETTINGS button in your community.

2. Click on the General tab.

3. Proceed to either set it to Private or Public.
4. Once you are done, scroll down and click on UPDATE SETTINGS.
